401C (Catchup) Plan deduction - US payroll

Hi All,

We have a scenario, where 401C should not be deducted when employee is paid certain wage type. i.e. 9XXX - Housing allowance gross up

The below wage types are calculated in the system.

9XHA - Housing allowance gross up = 400

9XH2 Housing GrUpTax --> 97.63

9XH1 Housing GrUpRslt --> 497.63

However, the employee tax deduction is nullified against 9XH2 with the Tax wage types. In Other deduction section "401C - Catch up" is calculated which is maintained in IT - 0169 (Savings Plans). Even, 401K is maintained that amount is not deducted in payroll.

The user requirement is, whatever amount is paid to employee the entire amount should be given without any deduction.

The employee earnings has only 400 which is 9XHA, however in Other deduction 401C is populated & net earnings is 350$.

How can we stop this deduction?

Regards,

Prasad Lad
