I've tried a standard query (no HANA view either directly or indirectly involved) on our BW on HANA system. It doesn't dump, but no values are displayed, i.e. it filters as if the filter value "ALL" is not existent or non-valid.

This is actually the behavior I would have expected after reading note 2169716 on HANA view restrictions with DS 1.5.

I then tried a standard query on a normal BW 7.3 (no HANA) and it worked as expected.

I think I'll just use my workaround. Opening an SAP message, including all the required logs, is always a lot of work.
